What you Need

First Edition Nesting Stamps Dies Set

Simply Creative Deck the Halls 12 x 12 Paper Pad, Gold Glitter Sentiment Stickers

Dovecraft 5x7 Card Blank, Gold Mirror Card, A4 Kraft Card, Twine

How to Make

1.  Cut a patterned sheet from your Simply Creative Deck the Halls 12x12 Paper Pad down to 17cm x 12cm. Adhere this with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape to the centre of your Dovecraft 5x7 card blank.

2.  Take the smallest and the 2nd smallest die from the First Edition Nesting Stamps Dies Set and die cut each onto two different Deck the Halls paper designs. Layer the smaller die cut to the larger die cut and stick your layered squares toward the top of your card design.

3.  Next, cut out a mitten shape from a sheet of Dovecraft A4 Kraft card. Then, cut out a slightly smaller mitten shape to fit the kraft card from your Deck the Halls paper pad. Glue the patterned mitten to the kraft card.

4.  Cut a thin strip of coordinating Deck the halls paper and layer it onto a small strip of Dovecraft Gold Mirror card. Glue this to the top of the mitten.

5.  Finish by cutting a length of Dovecraft Twine, tying it to make a bow and adhering it to the top, right hand side of your mitten. Embellish your mitten with a Simply Creative Gold Glitter heart sticker and underneath, adhere a Simply Creative ‘Happy Seasons’ glittered sticker sentiment.  

6.  You could also decorate the inside and back of your card with complementing Deck the Halls papers.

Magic and Sparkle by Maxine

What you Need

Dovecraft Magic and Sparkle 6x6 Paper Pad, Sequins, 6x6 Card Blank, Silhouette Reindeer Die, Snowflake Die, Twine

Simply Creative Alphabet Stamp Set

First Edition Scalloped Circle, Bunting die set

How to Make

1.  Begin by cutting a piece of Dovecraft Magic and Sparkle 6x6 paper down to 15cm x 15cm. Adhere this to your Dovecraft 6x6 card blank, with the fold along the top of your card.

2.  Cut a coordinating piece of Magic and Sparkle paper down to 13cm x 13cm. Die cut the largest die within the First Edition Scalloped Circle set to the centre of your square. Adhere your sheet to the centre of a patterned 13cm x 13cm Magic and Sparkle paper. Glue your layered sheets to the centre of your card design, at an angle.

3.  Die cut the second largest die within the First Edition Bunting Dies set on to a complementing piece of Magic and Sparkle paper to create a tree shape.

4.  Die cut the medium sized die from the Dovecraft Snowflake die set, loop a length of Dovecraft Twine through it and wrap it around the tree shape. Adhere your tree with 3D foam pads to the left hand side of your card design.

5.  Die cut 3 more medium side snowflakes and the Dovecraft Silhouette Reindeer die on to the same Magic and Sparkle paper. Stick the snow flake die cuts to the top right of your card and the reindeer die cut to the right hand side of the tree, with 3D foam pads.

6.  Stamp the words ‘Christmas Wishes’ using the Simply Creative Alphabet Stamp Set on to a Magic and Sparkle patterned sheet, cut out and adhere with 3D foam pads to the tree.

7.  Add Magic and Sparkle sequins to the centre of the snowflakes.

Christmas Cheer by Emily

What you Need

Dovecraft Chipboard Frames, Kraft 5x7 Card Blank, Vellum, Sweet Paris Sequins

Simply Creative Christmas Cheer 12x12 Paper Pad

Sewing Machine (Optional)

How to Make

1.  Begin by cutting a 17.5cm x 12.5cm rectangle of dark green paper and a 17cm x 11.5cm piece of cream paper from your Simply Creative Christmas Cheer 12x12 paper pad.

2.  Layer the cream paper to the dark green sheet and adhere these layered sheets to the centre of your Dovecraft 5x7 Kraft card blank with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape.

3.  Find the bells and holly paper design within the Christmas Cheer paper pad. Cut out a piece with three lines of bells and holly and then, roughly cut around the holly and bells. Glue this to the centre of your card blank, vertically.

4.  Cut the tartan patterned sheet from the Christmas Cheer paper pad down to 7cm x 6cm and adhere it vertically, to the centre of your card design.

5.  Take a Dovecraft Chipboard frame and glue it down on the white side of a patterned sheet. Ensure to pick a pale colour. Use a craft knife and cut out the aperture.

6.  Cut two rectangles of Dovecraft Vellum to fit the size of the frame. Using a sewing machine, stitch around three sides of the frame to attach the vellum. Ensure to leave the top edge open.

7.  Fill the vellum pocket with Dovecraft Sweet Paris sequins. Secure the vellum pocket by stitching along the top edge. If you don’t have a sewing machine, you can use Dovecraft Perma Fix tape to seal the vellum.

8.  Layer your shaker element to a piece of polka dot Christmas Cheer paper, ensuring to allow room for a border. Glue this at an angle, to the centre of your card. Finish by cutting out a ‘Merry Christmas’ sentiment and bow from the Christmas Cheer pad and gluing both pieces to the bottom right of your shaker element.

Dovecraft Dies by Christine

What you Need

Dovecraft Christmas Basics Snowflake Dies, Vellum, Silver A4 Mirror Card, Ribbon, 6x6 Kraft Card Blank

Simply Creative Silver Gems, Glitter Sentiments,

First Edition Textured Card Stock

How to Make

1.  Begin by die cutting the largest die within the Dovecraft Snowflake dies set, 7 times on to a sheet of First Edition white textured card stock and Dovecraft vellum. Layer each card snowflake with a vellum cut out using Dovecraft Perma Fix Tape, ensuring to place it at an angle to add interest.

2.  Next, cut the medium sized snowflake die from the same set, 8 times onto a sheet of Dovecraft silver mirror card and on a sheet of Dovecraft vellum. Layer the vellum die cuts on to the mirror card snow flakes at an angle.

3.  Add a Simply Creative silver gem to the middle of each layered snowflake.

4.  Draw a 15cm x 15cm circle to the centre of your Dovecraft 6x6 Kraft Card Blank, ensuring to leave a small gap at the top of your card.

5.  Attach the snowflakes around the circle using 3D foam pads, making sure to have one snowflake spare. Alternate the large and smaller snowflake die cuts.

6.  Cut a length of Dovecraft ribbon, tie a bow and glue this to the top of your snowflake wreath, in the centre. Glue the spare snowflake die cut to the centre of your ribbon and add a Simply Creative Gem to the centre.

7.  Trim a strip of Dovecraft Vellum down to 11.5cm x 2.5cm and cut a fish tale end on both edges. Adhere the Simply Creative glittered sentiment ‘Let it Snow’ to the centre of the vellum banner. Stick this with 3D foam pads to the centre of your snowflake wreath.

What you Need

Dovecraft 5x7 Kraft Card Blank, Nesting Stars Dies

Simply Creative Jingle Bells 6x6 Paper Pad, Foiled Christmas Sentiments

How to Make

1.  Begin by cutting out 4, 4cm x 8cm rectangles from your Simply Creative Jingle Bells 6x6 Paper Pad.

2.  Take one rectangle and fold the top left corner down to the bottom line of your rectangle, in the centre. Then fold the top right corner down to the centre of your rectangle. This will create a triangle. Repeat this to the other three rectangle pieces.

3.  With Dovecraft Perma Fix Tape, adhere the first triangle toward the top of your Dovecraft 5x7 Kraft card blank.

4.  Lay each triangle vertically, ensuring to slightly overlap each time you add one to create the look of a Christmas tree.

5.  Die cut 3 stars using the Dovecraft Nesting Stars Dies on to a complementing sheet within your Jingle Bells paper pad. Layer these on top of each other at an angle, using 3D foam pads. Stick your layered stars to the top of the tree.

6.  Finish by adding a foiled Simply Creative Christmas sentiment to the bottom of your tree design.

What you Need

Dovecraft Kraft A4 Card, Snowflake Dies

Simply Creative Glitter Sticker Sentiments & Stars

First Edition A Christmas Story 12x12 Paper Pad

How to Make

1.  Begin by cutting down a piece of Dovecraft A4 Kraft Card down to 20cm x 27cm. With your sheet horizontal, measure 9cm across from the left hand side and make a vertical score line. Measure 18cm in from the left hand side and make a vertical score line.

2.  From the bottom left corner, measure up to 9cm. From the top of this measurement, cut a diagonal line to the top right corner. Discard the upper section.

3.  Fold your card at the score lines to create an accordion fold. Open it back out with the smallest section on the left hand side.

4.  Cut the red, snowflake sheet down from the First Edition A Christmas Story 12x12 paper pad to fit the panels on your card. Ink the edges and adhere each piece to your card with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape, ensuring to leave a small border when adding your panels.

5.  Die cut a selection of snowflakes from the Dovecraft Snowflakes die set onto the text page within the A Christmas Story paper pad.

6.  Close your card stick the Simply Creative Gold Star stickers along the top edges of each fold.

7.  Adhere the snowflake die cuts to your card design, ensuring to alternate the design by sticking them with glue and 3D foam pads. Overlap the snowflake die cuts with glittered stars from the Simply Creative Glitter Sticker Sentiments pack.

8.  Finish by sticking a Simply Creative Christmas Sentiment toward the bottom of your card, at the front.

Christmas Promise by Angela

What you Need

First Edition Christmas Promise 12x12 Paper Pad, Christmas Tree Dies Set

Dovecraft 6x6 White Card Blank, Happy Christmas Die, Pink Glitter Card, A4 Vellum

Simply Creative Gems

How to Make

1.  Begin by cutting a 13.5cm x 13.5cm square of foiled snowflake paper and a 14.5cm x 14.5cm square of polka dot paper from the First Edition Christmas 12x12 Paper Pad. Glue the foiled paper design to the centre of the polka dot sheet.

2.  Tear a 5cm wide strip of pink snowflake paper from the Christmas Promise paper pad and adhere with glue toward the bottom of your layered squares. Trim the edges if you have excess paper.

3.  Next, tear a slightly larger strip of Dovecraft Vellum and place it on top of the first, torn strip to create the look of snow. Fold both ends over the edges and secure to the back of your layered sheets with Dovecraft Perma Fix Tape.

4.  Adhere your layered sheets to the centre of your Dovecraft 6x6 White Card blank.

5.  Die cut the Dovecraft ‘Happy Christmas’ sentiment on to a sheet of Dovecraft pink glitter card. Layer this on top of a piece of Dovecraft white card and trim around the edges. Glue your finished sentiment to the top right of your card design.

6.  Die cut the largest die within the First Edition Christmas Tree Dies set onto a piece of Dovecraft pink glitter card. Glue this to the left of your vellum strip. Decorate your tree and sentiment with a selection of Simply Creative silver and pink gems.

7.  Cut out two reindeers from the Christmas Promise paper pad and glue them to the right of your Christmas tree die cut. Finish by adhering the snowflake die cuts from the sentiment die to your design.

Textured Card Stock by Victoria

What you Need

Dovecraft A4 Kraft Card, Christmas Basics Sequins, Sentiments, Paper Chains, Christmas Tree Die

First Edition Scalloped Circle Dies Set, Textured Card Stock

How to Make

1.  Start by cutting down an A4 sheet of Dovecraft Kraft card down to 25.5cm x 12.5cm. With your sheet vertical, fold it in half.

2.  Cut a 11.5cm x 11.5cm piece of red, First Edition Textured Card Stock. Add 3D foam pads to the back and stick it to the centre of your kraft card, ensuring the fold on your kraft card is along the top.

3.  Pick two complementing Dovecraft Christmas Basics Paper Chains. Cut them down to the fit your card and glue two coordinating pieces vertically, on the right hand side. Then, glue the  two remaining pieces horizontally, toward the bottom of your card design.

4.  Die cut the smallest die within the First Edition Scalloped Circle dies set, two times onto a piece of Dovecraft Kraft card. Layer on top of each other using Dovecraft Perma Fix tape, to create more depth. Adhere this toward the bottom right hand corner of your design with 3D foam pads.

5.  Die cut the Dovecraft Christmas Tree die onto green Textured Card Stock, three times. Layer together and stick it to the centre of your scalloped circles.

6.  Add a Dovecraft Christmas Basics sentiment in the centre, toward the left hand side. Add 3 Dovecraft Basics red sequins on the vertical and horizontal paper chain strips.

7.  Finish by gluing the remaining star die cuts from the Christmas tree around your sentiment.

Frosted Winter by May

What you Need

Dovecraft 5x7 White Card Blank, Silver Mirror Card, A4 White Card, Happy Christmas Die, Silhouette Reindeer Die

First Edition Christmas Tree Die Set

Simply Creative Frosted Winter 12x12 Paper Pad

How to Make

1. Start by cutting down the Christmas tree patterned sheet from your Simply Creative Frosted Winter 12x12 Paper Pad down to 12.5cm x 18cm. Adhere this with Dovecraft Perma to the centre of your Dovecraft 5x7 White card blank.

2. Die cut the Dovecraft Happy Christmas and Silhouette Reindeer die onto an A4 sheet of Dovecraft Silver Mirror card.

3. Next die cut the largest tree die, the decorated Christmas tree, the tree with spots and the line of small Christmas trees from the First Edition Christmas Dies set on to an A4 sheet of Dovecraft Mirror card. Die cut the line of trees onto a piece of Dovecraft White card.

4. Cut out each individual tree from the two lines of trees.

5. Glue the largest Die cut tree to the bottom right corner, the reindeer to the left hand side, in the middle. Scatter the little Christmas tree die cuts, ensuring to line them up with the Christmas tree pattern on your Frosted Winter sheet.

6. Die cut the Dovecraft Happy Christmas die once again on the same Frosted Winter sheet. Poke out the lettering and snowflakes from the original, mirror card die cut and using these to fill in the gaps from your frosted winter die cut.

7. Die cut the solid Christmas tree from the First Edition Christmas Trees die set and glue your mirror card Christmas tree with the fairy lights on top.

8. Slightly overlap the two medium sized tree die cuts to the bottom left hand corner and glue your ‘Happy Christmas’ sentiment to the top of the card, with glue.

Dear Santa by Lyndsey

What you Need

Dovecraft 5x7 Circle Aperture Card Blank, Gold Mirror Card

First Edition Scalloped Circle Die Set

How to Make

1.  Begin by cutting down two complementing sheets of Dear Santa 8x8 paper down to 17.5cm x 12.5cm. Adhere one piece to the inside of your Dovecraft 5x7 Circle Aperture Card Blank.

2.  Next, line up the 2nd piece of Dear Santa paper behind the aperture and lightly draw a pencil mark around the aperture line.

3.  Use the second largest die within the First Edition Scalloped Circle die set and using the pencil marks, place the die in the centre of your guideline and die cut the scalloped circle.

4.  Adhere your die cut sheet to the front of your card blank using Dovecraft Perma Fix tape.

5.  Cut out a Dovecraft Gold Mirror card circle and layer on top, a Dear Santa Character Topper with 3D foam pads, to the centre. Stick this to the inside of your card, using the aperture to help with your placement of the topper.

6.  Cut out a banner shape from a coordinating piece of Dear Santa paper. Layer it on top of a larger banner shape cut out of Dovecraft gold mirror card. Stick this to the bottom, left hand side of your card design with Dovecraft Perma Fix tape.

7.  Add three, Dear Santa Accordion Stickers around the circle aperture. Place a Dear Santa ‘Merry Christmas’ sentiment topper to the bottom right of your card design. Finish by adding a few Dear Santa gems to your project.
