You Will Need

Me To You Sweet Shop Decoupage, 6x6 Papers , Ribbons, Enamel Dots

Dovecraft White 6 x6 Card Blank

How to Make

1.  From the right of your card blank, measure in 6.5cm and cut vertically down from the front of your card blank.

2.  Trim around a 6x6 pattern paper from the Sweet shop pad (to ensure you leave a border around your card) and adhere to the inside of your card using Easyfix Tape Roller.

3.  Cut a 8x14.5cm of horizontally striped, pink paper from the Sweet Shop paper pad. Stick to front panel. Ensure when sticking, to leave a white border around the panel.

4.  Cut a smaller panel of vertically striped, green paper from the Sweet Shop paper pad. Centre then layer onto the pink paper.

5.  Cut a 5.5cm strip of sentiment patterned paper that displays, ‘Love is Sweet’. Matte the sentiment onto the centre of a 6cm pink paper strip from the Sweet Shop  paper pad. Make sure to leave a small border and layer the sentiment using the Dovecraft Easyfix Adhesive roller. Once done, stick down onto card front.

6.  Assemble the decoupage bear with lollipop using 3D foam squares, just 2 layers onto the base layer. Use double sided tape to attach the decoupage bear to the right side of the front card flap.

7.  Cut two 10.5cm lengths of heart printed ribbon, cut v’s into the ends and attach to top and bottom of the green striped paper on the card front, using 3mm permafix tape.

8.  Cut out the ‘Love You’ heart from one of the Sweet Shop papers and attach to the card front using 3D foam squares. Add 3 small enamel dots to the ‘Love You’ heart and adhere to the front of the card with 3D foam squares & 3 large enamel dots to inside card at bottom right.

Santoro’s Willow Steel dies

How to Make

1.  Cut a piece of 13.5cmx13.5cm floral paper from the Mulberry Kisses paper pack and mount onto a piece a green patterned Mulberry Kisses paper measuring 14cm x 14cm. Attach to the card blank.

2.  Die-cut a doily on green patterned, Mulberry Kisses paper. Cut a circle with a diameter of approximately 6cm on purple patterned Mulberry Kisses paper. Cut out a 5.5cm circle from the same paper used for the doily shape.

3.   Layer the two circles, ensuring the green circle is in the centre of the purple circle. Glue the assembled circles to the doily. Using large square foam pads, attach the topper 6cm in from the left of the card.

4.  Die-cut the ‘Just For You’ sentiment on purple patterned Mulberry Kisses paper. Add to the topper carefully with a small amount of craft glue.

5.  Die-cut hearts in three different sizes from white cardstock, purple patterned paper and green patterned paper. Layer and arrange on the card using small 3D foam squares.

6.  Finish off by adding adhesive pearls to the bottom left of the card as shown.

How to Make

1.  With the crease at the top of the card blank, cut the width down to 12cm.

2. Cut a 11x14cm piece of heart filled paper from the Grace Taylor Sherbet sky pad. Mat onto an 11.5x14.5cm of grey card. Add to the front of the card blank with craft glue

3. Using the Modern Sentiment Die set; die cut the ‘Love You’ sign on 5cmx4cm grey card. Adhere to the top right hand side of the card using foam pads

4. Cut a 11x7cm rectangle shape from white card using the First Edition card pack. Cut two corners diagonally on one end to create the tag look. Layer a 10x6cm piece of stripy paper (cut into a tag shape) onto a 10.5 x6.5cm piece of grey card (cut into a tag shape). Layer onto the white tag.

5. Die cut a 7cm border from the Belle & Boo die set in white card, stick a strip of Grace Taylor in the middle, and adhere to the tag 3cm from the bottom.

6. Using the Willow Die set, die cut the heart lock, key and various hearts onto First Edition grey card. Add the die cut key, hearts & ‘love you’ sentiment to the tag. Hole punch the tag and thread with ribbon.

7. Place the tag onto the card at a jaunty angle using 3D foam pads and add a couple of small hearts to the card by the side of the tag. Only use a 3D foam pad on one of the hearts to vary the effect.

8. Add arrow & heart Washi tape strips to various sides of the card to add interest. Finish off with a few gems on the ‘Love you’ sign and tag.

Santoro Willow 6x6 Paper Pad, blooms, peacock feathers, sequins

How to Make

1. Choose three designs from the Santoro Willow paper pad, the colours in this design are purple and green.

2. Your first sheet will remain 6x6 size. You will need to cut 1cm from each side of your second sheet. Your third sheet will need to have 2cm cut off from each side. Make sure when layering, to centre each sheet so that you are left with a border.  Distress the edges and stick down.

3. Take a wooden heart and key from the Santoro wooden pieces set and colour them with a First Edition No.35 Grape marker.

4. Take out  2 paper flowers, 2 leaves and a peacock feather from the Santoro embellishment  range, cut your bottom flower in half, turn both the flowers and leaves over and spritz with water. Fold them, gently scrunch them and open them out. This will give the flowers more depth and movement.

5. Stick down your first flower, then stick your feather  down at an angle, place your leaves together on the right and glue down. Glue the final flower in the centre (making sure to cover any gaps).

6. Cut 20cm of Dovecraft ‘Just Because’ ribbon and tie into a bow. Stick your bow on top of your flower. Stick your wooden key to the bow and wooden heart underneath.  Put a heart pin through the middle of the bow and key.

7. Add a sequin to each corner and add some silver glitter glue for added effect.


First Edition Love Story by Katie

You Will Need

Dovecraft 6x6 Card Blank

First Edition Love Story 12x12 Paper Pad

Fiskars Lace Punch

Dovecraft Heart Doily, gems, lace ribbon, Grosgrain Pink ribbon & Organza ribbon

How to Make

1. Choose a heart patterned 12x12 sheet of paper from the Love Story pad and cut it to 6x6 size, glue to a 6x6 card blank.

2. Next, choose a coordinating sheet of paper, cut it down to 8x15cm. Create a classy edge by using the Fiskars lace punch along the top edge.

3. Cut out a 15cm piece of ribbon and laced ribbon.  Carefully glue the laced ribbon under the lace punch line and glue the pink ribbon on top.

4. Adhere the 8cmx15cm card to the bottom of your card. Using glue, attach a heart shaped doily to the right of the card, half covering the 8cmx15cm card you stuck down.

5. Cut out a heart shape tag from the 12x12 Love Story pad and adhere to centre of the heart shaped doily using foam squares.

6. Tie a bow using pink organza ribbon, stick this to the tag and to finish, glue a gem centre of the ribbon.


Dovecraft Serendipity by Maxine

You will Need

Dovecraft 6x6 Card Blank, A4 Cardstock and White Frame

Dovecraft Serendipity 6x6 Paper Pad, Sequins, Wooden buttons, Ribbon, Pom Pom Trim and Plastic Buttons.

First Edition Alphabet Die Set, Red Textured Cardstock

Fiskars Heart puncher

How to Make

1.Cut a 14.5cmx14.5cm square of backing paper, adhere to the card blank (Ensuring to leave a white border around the edge).

2.Cut a 14.5cm square of white card stock, cut in half to create a triangle.  Adhere the triangle to the bottom left of the card blank. Mat and layer with a 14.5 x 14.5 cm triangular of Serendipity paper.

3.Cut a 8x8cm square piece of Serendipity paper to fit behind the frame and adhere with glue. Attach the frame to the card just thin tape on the top, bottom and left side to create a pocket. 

4.Die cut the words I LOVE on a piece of red cardstock. Adhere across the frame and triangular flap, using foam pads.

5.Cut a 8.5cm x 7cm rectangle on white cardstock, layer an 8.5cm x 7cm Serendipity paper on top. Create the tag shape by cutting the two corners on the right hand side. Punch a heart shaped hole at the top of the tag, thread with ribbon. 

6.Die cut the word YOU, adhere the letters to the centre of the tag. Push the tag into the secret pocket at the side of the frame

7.Add a Serendipity heart with a 3D square foam pad, to the bottom of the ‘I Love’ sign. Decorate with a button and sequins from the Serendipity collection.

8.To finish, add a pom pom trim to the bottom of the white frame.


Grace Taylor Forest Friends by Angie

You will Need

How to Make

1. Cut a 14cm x 14cm square piece of yellow, patterned paper from the Grace Taylor paper pad and stick to the 6x6 card blank.

2. Next cut a 12cm x 12cm square piece of heart patterned paper from the Grace Taylor paper pad, ensure it is in the centre of the yellow paper square and stick down.

3. Cut a 6.5 cm x 6.5 cm blue square of paper from the Grace Taylor pad and adhere to the top right of the card.

4. Use a black gel pen to add a line around the edge of the paper to give the card definition and extra detail.

5. Using the Wedding Die set, die cut the ‘Love’ shape onto First Edition textured red card. Do the same onto First Edition textured pink card. Discard the red letters from within the ‘Love’ sentiment and insert the pink letters from your Love die cut.

6. Using a border lace die, cut onto First Edition textured yellow card and carefully glue underneath and around your ‘love’ shape. Fix to the card using 3D foam pads.

7. Again, choose a heart die from the Wedding die set and cut hearts out of blue, green, red, pink and yellow First Edition textured card. Mix the borders and heart shapes so that you have a different colour edge around each inner heart shape.

8. Use 3D foam squares to stick your multi-coloured hearts to the card. Die cut an arrow from the Grace Taylor paper pad. Cut in half and place one either side of the heart, using 3D foam squares.

9. Add some sparkle to your card using gems and sequins.
