Digital stamps for free

Postby BirdsCards » Sat Aug 22, 2009 1:35 pm

Hi,

I've just started creating digital stamps and have a few up on my site that you can go and take to use on your projects which are all free. I will be adding more over time too but i can let you know here when i do if anyone would like me to. I would love to hear what you guys think and see any projects you use them on.

You have got some great images on your site.

Is there anything special to consider when you print them out via an inkjet printer and intend to colour them in with ProMarkers?

Thanks for such nice comments, you've made my day :)

um, i've read on other forums that it depends mainly on what type of printer you have, i do find that it can be easy to smudge the ink if i'm not careful so i don't go over the lines if i can help it. I did read somewhere that fixing it with hairspray helps but i've not tried that. Also if you paint the card with a medium apparently it keeps the ink wet for long enough to emboss it with embossing powder, i havent tried that yet either but sounds pretty cool, i'll see if i can find the youtube clip i saw that on.

They are great, I have 3 boys still at home, one in a band (guitarist), one who skateboards and another into motorbikes. Have already made his card for this year but have put you into my bookmarks as I am sure I will be a regular visitor. Willenjoy looking at the whole site regularly.
