I agree most things can be handy, I ask friends to keep take away boxes and lids, as they are great for storing odd bits. I often use boxes that deliveries have been in to store 1/2 done projects. The best tip is to use jiffy bags sent through the post, cut to size and placed over decoupage to protect the image in the post, [that is my favourite recyle item] Then it has to be wrappers from packs eg,gems, rub on stickers, brads ect.., I recyle these when I am stippling a card, or even inking the edge of the card to protect the surface and then throw it out....

I've been looking for storage for my clear stamps, which need to be kept flat. I had an insiprational moment and they are now stored in an old, clean metal square biscuit tin. I guess this would also work with all those sweet tins from Christmas!

I have some other tins, so I'll be working out what to put in these too! :D

I have used the clear video tape boxes for storing embellishments, ribbon, sentiments, you name it can be stored in them ;-) they are also great for storing the smaller offcuts of card and paper, what I have done is label the boxes with colour inside.

I keep my clear stamps in spare CD cases. They stick to the sides and I can see at a glance what is inside. I have also labelled the edges eg Alphabet / Xmas. It's then simple for storage and finding the stamps.
