Mixed news here one grandson has been accepted at university which is great but my son phoned last night when I was at work saying the other grandson didn’t get high enough grades so has to re do them. but his mum had said a while ago he didn’t revise much because he thought he knew enough to sail through his exams suppose its good to be confident but over confident isn’t always good

Well that is one way to make sure you like what you get for your birthday isn’t it? I used to drop hints but having an all male family it didn’t work they need more than a signpost or a map they need precise instructions. I used to think they should know me well enough to buy something I would like but you get a bit sick of flowers and chocolates after a while don’t you?

You put me to shame Sophie, I've only made one Christmas card so far lol ! I must crack on with them as time is marching on, and before we know it Christmas will be a week away ! My husband keeps saying "you should be getting on with your Christmas cards" and I know he's right - I sell some in aid of Breast Cancer, and I have loads of Christmas stuff to use, so I really must get started.... Love Anne xx
