I have just realised that I have not posted on here for some time and decided that I will try and use it to give more info on some of my projects.

This ATC was made using rub-ons that I have had since I first started making cards and I could never think what to do with them :lol: The other three were made with stickers I have had for some time, plus one or two I have acquired in swaps. This swap is proving to be a good way to use up stickers and peel-offs that I would never otherwise use as my style has gone in other directions :lol:

The Silver ATCs were made with Kanban...

kids are back by end of week . by crafts on Tue Aug 31, 2010 6:33 am
Well kids will are back to school by friday . it has been a busy few weeks was on hoilday at the end of july at cheddergorge for one week . then adam had summer school for 2 weeks . but it was hard work as for his disibility he is in a wheel chair at moment as he can't walk long distances at moment .on the 4th week of the hols he went for an m.r.i scan. hoping for results this week hope we dont wait much longer . as that was a full day in hospital cus he had to be put to sleep . but that was my longest day so far of my life .then he had odd days at his wednesday club . then the weekend we went to stratford for the day . had a fun day . then yesterday we went to our sandwell show . saw pelenty of people we knew and had a picnic .it was a loverly day . brought some caft goodies. can't wait to see what they look like done up . any way thats my busy 6 weeks done . just the next couple of days get the kids school stuff together. ...

This week's Challenge over at The Crafty Pad is Simply Pearls.
For my DT card I have used The Crafty Pad Stamp Designs, Fancy Lady's Shoe Image. For the 'pearls' this time i have used Liquid Pearls plus a large pearl Brad.
I have used Double Sided Papers, Cardstock and Ribbon from Stampin Up.
Lace and paper roses are from Stash and leaves have been made using Martha Stewart Punches.

Since last writing we have move out of the house and Husband has got a job in Wellington NZ. The stress level in the family has increased greatly as we have only unitl the 19 September to complete all the preparations as we fly that day to start our new lives in NZ. Crafting has been mine and my daughters outlet for the past couple of weeks keeping us on an even keele in all the madness.

Recent events such as my daughters birthday and in the next few weeks my Mother's birthday have made us realise how much we miss our craft area of our old house! Short on some supplies as we have packed them meant we have had to go out and buy more craft paper and stuff - Husband not to impressed more money being spent!

Anyway we are now busy looking for a new house in NZ to live in and trying to work out what we can carry on the plane with us - living out of a suitcase is going to be fun for 8 - 10 weeks while our household goods travel by sea to join us. Hopefully we will be all settled ready for...
