education pscycologist verdict by tracy43 on Tue Mar 02, 2010 8:19 pm
emma and i saw the education psycologist today. according to her testings, emma isnt autistic or aspergic, her cognitive test showed her to be intelligent and able to cope with the school curriculum hopefully getting good grades, however her social skills showed that of a 7/8 year old.
reccomended that school look into her so called freindships and start some new nurtering programme in after easter hols what this entails i have no idea other than putting her with other similar students for a while a day/week
as for as her phobias and anxieties they are going to get cams involved with us again but this time focusing on emma and her fears. as to what else and where else to go/do is beyond me at the moment, in my head im saying, does this mean i have to treat her as a 7/8 year old or a 13 year old as regards responsibility for things like her own belongings do i expect her to be responsible or not, how can i say to emma never mind i will do it yet to the 12 year old do it, i have wars...

A very sad week by Sandra Lamberth on Tue Mar 02, 2010 2:04 am
Last week on Thurs 25th Feb our very loyal, beautiful King Charles Spanial 'Elly' passed away. She was 9 yrs old almost to the day. We had her from a 6 week old pup. She passed away in my bedroom from heart failure. She collapsed at my feet. Only the day before she had been running around the house like a puppy chasing her ball and trying to pinch my grandaughters biscuits.
I can still see her beautiful big brown eyes staring up at me. My partner, 4 children and I are all devestated by her passing (yes grown men do cry) but we have drawn comfort from knowing she was where she wanted to be at the time.
I have tried to turn my attentions to crafting ( I even bought a cuttlebug machine at the weekend) but I'm finding it hard to concentrate at the moment. My eyes keep being drawn to her little resting place in the garden. I miss her so much.
I know the pain will ease in time but I will never forget you, my beautiful little Elly. May you RIP xxxxx

Template Tester by Toucan Scraps on Mon Mar 01, 2010 11:02 am
I'm going to make some Hybrid and Paper Crafting Templates to put in my store. I'm working on my first one at the moment - Bookmarks and hope to get it finished today.

Would you be interested in being my Paper Crafting Templates tester?

My requirements would be:

* Proof read the instructions etc to ensure no obvious spelling or grammar errors
* Make one of everything in the templates pack to ensure that the templates work and the instructions are easy to follow
* Send me feedback
* After I have added the product to the store, Upload a photo at least one finished item using each template and my kits (can include freebies - if you don't have anything yet I can provide you with 1 sample pdf printable kit) into the Toucan Scraps Gallery and the relevant paper crafting gallery at 3Scrapateers. That one minimum item per template would be excluded from my monthly prize draw, but everything else would count. Include store links to the template and kits you use in the photo upload....
