This is my DT card for Lexi's Creations this week where the challenge is Emboss it!
I have used the idea from another Trimmie's card uploaded the other week where they embossed using a cuttlebug folder onto Acetate. the effect was really effect so I decided to use it with lexi's Sentiment 'A Friend is a Gift'.
I have used a scalloped square card from Craftworks and trimmed off the side scallops.
First I matted some Razzleberry Stampin Up cardstock, then layered some Bazzill Bling in a co-ordinating Pink (sorry, actual name escapes me!). I attached the panel of embossed acetate to the left of the card and the sentiment slightly to the right.
I have used Oval Scalloped Nesties to cut out the sentiment and edged with a pink ink pad.

The Challenge is all about making your own Stamps… They can be made in all different ways, even using an 'old fashioned' Potato…now everyone must have done that at some stage!
There are loads of things you can stamp with, but I wanted to show you are really simple and effective method of making a stamp.

Gosh... I wasn't this nervous about my own results even ... My youngest son gets his results today. I he is not good at performing well in exams. This year it seems as if it will be so hard to get a uni place.

Hello there all

Thought it was time to make an apperance change the photo and update my blog, as yet again it has been quite sometime since I have updated this and the year is just zooming by and leaving me behind.

Well since my last blog entry quite a bit has happened. Crafting wise I have had a little bit of a break from the card making and have been trying my hand a making some crochet stuff toys for Faith which I must photograph and put on my gallery along with outstanding cards which I have made, and always I hope to be back doing my scrapbooking a christmas card making real soon

Personal events inclulde me getting yet another year older, which I must admit it was the first time ever I can honestly say I enjoyed my birthday and had a great day, Faith her dad and me spent the whole...
