Thank you for your comments, its lovely to know that i have so much support from you all. I am going to attempt to go to lady Q's house today, social services told me not to be alarmed the police seemed to have made some mess with the finger print stuff everywhere. I just cant find it in my heart for her things to be touched or for me to riffle through her things, but in my heart she would have wanted me to do that. My husband is coming with me. Having a lunch meeting with other residents families tomorrow to talk about what they have tbeen through and what action they want to take, we are divided at the moment, some are saying just leave it. But thats not not me i have to carry on and fight this through til the end, hopefully i can get these families to join me, social services have asked that we dont take it to the media. I wonder why...

There's nothing quite like... by ceej on Sun Nov 09, 2008 4:42 pm
The arrival of a parcel of crafting goodies...Even though today is Sunday the postie was at the door...grumbling that they have to work Sundays because despite the credit crunch - or perhaps because of it - people keep ordering from the internet...and the mail have a backlog of about 4 million parcels already. My goodness was all I could think of to say as he staggered back down the path, still grumbling to himself.

Sadly my parcel was not a gift from the crafting fairies, but it was a box of stuff I had ordered and I am delighted it has arrived just as I am starting to feel a bit better.

As I prepared to open it, I couldn't help wonder ...do people have little rituals around opening goodie parcels? For example...Does anyone else wait until they can do it undisturbed? Do you dump everything out of the box at once or lift it out one piece at a time? Do you rifle through it with unfettered glee or do you carefully examine each item? What...

Stressful Week by Anonymous on Sun Dec 07, 2008 8:58 am
Hello to any readers,

Had a stressful week really, all down to my 16 year old daughter. She has finally told me the truth about this boy she likes. He is 19 years old and she has only just turned 16, on Wednesday as it happens. She lied to me first, saying he was 16. I feel really dissapointed in her for lying about it, I thought she could come and talk to me about things like that. I do understand why she did, but just hate being lied to. It got worse later in the week as we found out its the same guy that hangs out at a house where drugs are involved. My other daughter has since told me that he does do drugs, one of her friends used to go to the house and told her that this guy is always stoned.

Hubby and I had a good talk with her explaining our fears and worries, she was okay about it and said she understood where we were coming from. I asked her if there was anything she wanted to say and she was only worried about her friend who was waiting for her in her room.

Yesterday...

Dog Mini Album for my Friend by rozpoz on Wed Nov 12, 2008 6:52 pm
A friend of mine recently had to say goodbye to one of her English Bull Terriers and I have made her a small 6x6 album to put some of her precious photos in.
I made the album using Dovecraft pet papers and brads along with Ribbon & Twill from RibbonMad. The diecut Bullies were cut by hand by someone on ebay.
