My Day ay the NEC HobbyCraft Show by rozpoz on Mon Nov 17, 2008 2:48 pm
Firstly I would like to thank Trimcraft and SarahC for sending me the tickets I won in Sarah Quick challenge last week. :D
I never thought I was going to get there as hubby was working on all the days of the HobbyCraft Show, but he was luckily able to get cover for yesterday so he could take me.
This was my first ever craft show I had been to and i thoroughly enjoyed it. i was worried it being the last day of the show whether there would be anything left
It was a very long day, we got up around 4.30 and left home just before 6am. The journey to the NEC was about 110 miles, and having never been before we dint know what to expect. I had a quick look on the NEC's website and was glad to see...

Am really feeling useless and down with myself by susieQdon on Mon Oct 27, 2008 3:58 pm
I hope that no one reads this it is just my way of getting things out of my system.
I am feeling useless at the moment, nothing I seem to do is right, my husband is on a downer at the moment following the death of his great grandmother which in turn followed the death of his gran who was her daughter, 2 deaths in 9 weeks, his gran had a funeral but his great gran has donated her body to science so there will be no funeral and no goodbye, the family are so selfish and aren't having a memorial, we arranged to have one ourselves last Monday but a nasty neighbour blocked my car in so we couldn't get to go, and he is dragging his feet to arrange another one in the meantime he is drinking to drown his sorrows, and taking his anger and frustration out on me, I know this sounds as though I am whingeing I probably am, another thing I can't do properly. I can't do much craft at the moment and when I did do something it wasn't up to standard, apparently. Sometimes I think what is the use, when you...

Really chuffed! by rozpoz on Sat Oct 25, 2008 1:07 pm
I usually buy ribbons each month from a great site called Ribbon Mad
http://www.ribbonmad.co.uk/catalog/
They have a great site that is well stocked with all sorts of riibbons and other embellishments. Each month they sell a limited number of kits of co-ordinating ribbons and some matching embellies. I have been buying these kits for a few months now, and I got chatting with Emma the owner and gave her the link to my gallery and blog on Trimcraft. she loved my projects so much that she asked if she could use some of my photos on her website. i was thrilled to be asked, but it didnt end there, she has aked me if i would send further photos every couple of months of projects i have made using ribbons. i dont feel as if I am 'good' enough to be on any of the design teams of all these other sites out there, but to actually be asked if I could submit my projects for a website, just really made my week ...

IMAGINISCE SNOWY JO DESIGNER PURSE ALBUM™ by rozpoz on Thu Dec 04, 2008 1:12 am
This is the my third ‘Designer Purse Album’ ™ that I have made.
This one has been made for my dear friend Laural who lives in USA. I just about managed to get it finished in time for the last Airmail posting dates for Christmas.
I am really pleased with how the album has turned out and I'm sure Laurel with love it :D

This handbag shaped album has been constructed using Bazzill cardstock and Imaginisce Papers from the Snowy Jo collection. Plus a whole host of Paper and Silk flowers, mainly Prima, Bazzill, Imaginisce and Heide Swapp flowers. Chipboard embellishments are from DCWV, brads from Imaginisce, Dovecraft and Stash. Ribbons from DCWV, Papermania and Stash, plus various charms for added embellishment. The handles have been beaded.
This took about one week to make.
Designer Purse Album ™ is a trademark of Rainedakota Designs ™ The concept of Designer Purse Albums™ is owned by Tonya St...
