Not been around for the last week and a bit as been on holiday, got back last night. I had a fab week with my hubby and our boys in Ibiza. Went back to same hotel as last year as had such a great time last year. Was as good as we remembered, even better as we went all inclusive this time. Had great weather, rained a bit for one day, but other than that was hot enough for sunbathing. Hotel was right on the beach so build some sandcastles and even got our 3 year old in the sea for the first time ever. Owen our youngest had his cast off his leg two days before we went, so although he wasn't walking he could enjoy the beach and sit by the kids pool and have a splash about without us having to worry about the cast getting wet. He finally took his first steps again on Monday and can now stand by himself and today walked holding only one of my hands now, so he'll soon be back to full speed.

Can't believe what I did on holiday......i had a snake around my neck, I somehow got dragged up on stage...

What a lovely weekend I've just had, I'm exhausted now.
We had a long weekend visiting our parents/in-laws in N. Lincs. On Friday I joined my Mum and 7 of her crafting friends, some of whom I've know since I was a kid, for a craft day. Four hours of crafting in a village hall, fantastic......Hubby took kids and his Mum out for the day so I didn't have to keep the kids entertained at the same time. I don't know of any craft groups near me, really want to find one now as had so much fun. Anyone know of any in West Oxfordshire? Shame my Mum lives 3 hrs away!! Next time I will see her is when we meet up at the NEC craft show.
On Sat. we visited more relatives and I got an order for 6 cards....... OK all from my Mother-in-law, but they still count Today we did a huge detour back to Oxfordshire via Manchester to see one of my uni friends and her family. We had a good catch up and some lovely food whilst...

Just changed my profile picture, realised my last picture only had one of my boys on, so changed it to one of both my kids....and the washing machine too..lol....

Was a pretty hectic January as I was on a course for three weeks, but found out I passed my exam at the end of it so really pleased. Boss told me today she's got money to keep me on for another 9 months and is applying for funding to keep me for another 3 years I love my job so feeling pretty pleased with myself that I can stay a bit longer. I'm a scientist, so get to wear a white lab coat and play with bits of DNA all day. I love it even more as it's only part time which is rare in science so I still get to spend time with my kids.

The last few days have been a bit up and down. On friday I found out I have won the prize from the last C.R.A.F.T challenge, this was a complete shock as it was the first time I'd entered, thanks to Mr Randon generator for picking me. Thanks also to C.R.A.F.T and hope Jancare for the lovely prize. It turned up yesterday, I got some christmas digital doodles from hope jancare and a lovely package full of crafting goodies, which I've taken a picture of. That was the good news, then on Saturday morning I hurt my back lifting my youngest into his car seat!! That put a damper on the weekend as I was in a lot of pain, couldn't even do any crafting. Anyway it's so much better now. Then today I had to give a very scary presentation at work today which I had spent a lot of time on getting the slides right (until 12pm last night), anyway my work paid off as it went well and my boss was very pleased. Feel so happy now it's over, going to celebrate by making my hubbys christmas card, he's out at the...

Went to the NEC yesterday to the hobbycrafts show. What a fab time, I managed to get on three demos and made two cards and a really cute handbag decoration using the big shot machine. One on the demo was by Stephanine (create and craft), she was so friendly and a very bubbly character.
Got so many ideas, went to my favouriate stand first of all, craftworkcards, they have such lovely stuff I loved all the demo cards because they all had a touch of glitter on them! Bought my first set of Promarkers, and some for my Mum for christmas. Can't wait to have a play with them. Also got some card blanks, 12 by 12 papers, a couple of stamps including a really cute fairy in a plant pot and a few other bits and pieces.
Wish I could go back today, but my bank balance couldn't handle it, but I have some lovely new things! Can't wait to play with them
