well hiya all of you, hows it going cant believe the weather is starting to cheer up and im back at work on tuesday, its just been miserable for my whole two week holiday, though of course I love not having to get up and rush out of bed, but then can spend whole morning in pj's, so perhaps going back to work will mean i'll get more done. Hubby and Taylor have finished decorating his room today, so he will be back in tonight and the hall way can be cleared of all his bits and pieces, Evan now waiting for his room to be done but that needs wallpaper stripping as he has decided to strip it himself in various places, grrrr, I have spent some time today making my bruvs birthday card, tis really poor, i couldnt think what to do, and what is worse is his wife is a card maker as well so she'll know how crap it is, his birthday is tuesday though so will have to put in post box tomorrow, if it wasnt so bad id post it on site but best forgotten about i think.

Well I have been blogging for a whole week now, have been on hols though so dont know if i will manage every day when back to the daily grind. Tomorrow, yee hah, Taylor has a football match which Ive said i will take him too as hubby is knackered from decorating room, its quite near hobbycraft so may pop in there whiles he is playing, he will never miss me.

I'm such a poor mum, cant wait to get them off my hands, youngest, Evan, is in year 6 so only one more year and then no more racing to the school to collect him, yee hah. If only id known what motherhood was like I might have passed on it, instead spent all of youth being broody, then finally had first at 30, emergency caeserian and bad post natal depression, great start, took me three years to consider having another and thats cos one of my friends said having the second felt like you had completed your family, doh, I believed her, OK im not that bad and do love them, but still cant wait not having to be so responsible. Im sure granny hood will be great though!!

Right Im off to send some pennies onthe web, speak again soon, Siobhan :D

Don't think they are off your hands when they are technically old enough to fend for themselves. I speak not from personal experience but from friends whose kids are still at home because they can't afford to move out. Hopefully by the time Taylor is 18+ things will have improved on the mortgage/house price front.
Yours smugly,
Deb

my nieghbour has 2 kids in their 30's and they spend more time at hers for washing, feeding, babysitting ( either grandchildren or the various animals) phoning , on internet ect,ect than they do in their own homes which their dad is knocking his pan out to put in new kitchens ( hopefully they will cook for him at some point or at least for themselves, new bathrooms ( so they don't use all his hot water and leave wet towels about, even an extention with new roof electrics ect. he says if that doesn't work he may move house or even country without telling them
