what a great morning

Permanent Linkby paperlace1 on Fri Mar 27, 2009 3:34 pm

Well I have to say that it went really well today at the open day. there were about twenty people interested in the work of Dogs for the disabled. some of wanting to volunteer and others were potential clients.

well trimmies here is the display of your wonderful work

Image Image

we worked out an easy pricing plan
A5 cards £1.50 - smaller than A5 £1.00 and cards that are A5 with a lot of embellisment £2.00.

they raised a lot of interest. if i have one complaint it would be that we needed more space so we will sort that out for next time. We are definatly going to need a second card stand.

katie had a great time and as you can see she even found some treasure

so here is the important bit. in two hours we sold 20 cards and raised £21 towards our target of £60 for puppy sponsorship. :D

In all with raffle ticket sales and other donations we raised £101.05p. for two hours work i think that is great. :D Rowan our fund raiser has asked me to pass on her thanks for your contribution.

our next event is sunday when katie will be doing a tin shake at out local tesco

by the way- Dogs for the disabled also fundraise by recycling your stamps- mobile phones and foregn coins.

these can all be sent to me direct or the Office have a look at the website for details
