Open days

Permanent Linkby paperlace1 on Thu Mar 19, 2009 10:56 am

Friday 27 March is open day at the dogs for the disabled northern office. Katie will be drumming up trade and helping to sell cards donated by trimcraft members. Generally there are about 50 people at these events some of them are people with disabilities who are thinking about making an application for a dog and others are people who are looking for a charity to support. And of course there are those of us who bring our dogs along to talk to people about how our dogs have changed our lives for the better.

as well as selling merchandise to raise funds there is a demonstration of the dogs talents which is always fun because all the dogs want to play.

I know that so many of you live too far away to come to these events but there are also open days in oxforshire at the banbury office and well as those in wakefield. So for those of you who are clo0se enough to either office why not make a date to come. places do need to be booked as space at both locations is limited. just as a added temptation there is a fantastic craft shop just three miles from the wakefield office.

the wakefield office is set in the grounds of a country house so you could make a day of it by looking around nostall priory after your visit to dogs for the disabled :D I would be happy to meet up with any of you who decide to came :D
