deadline Looming

Permanent Linkby paperlace1 on Fri Feb 20, 2009 6:37 am

I have been working all week on a project for challenge 19 and now there are only two days left- i am wondering if i will get it finished in time.
here is a sneek preview
Image
when it is finished it will be a mobile i have to make 8 of these and assemble them. the pattern is decepively simple.
1.trace the parasol in gold
2. trace the flowers in a colour of your choice
3. emboss the flowers and the circles
4. emboss the parason struts
5. Dorsa the reverse
6. prick out the border and cut the crosses
7. pierce with a 5 needle tool
8. pierce around the outline with a two needle tool and cut out.
put it together using beads and cocktail sticks.

the problem is each one takes about 2 hours. I have completed 6 so i have two more to do before i can put it together.
here is a finished parason blank Image
so i had better stop blogging and get on with it. I have about two hours peace before Katie will be asking for her breakfast
