peoples genarosity asstounds me - I know it shouldn't because there are so many nice people around. the Dogs for the disabled card appeal is going really well with 122 card already received. I delivered the first 55 cards to the office today and had a short meeting with Rowan our area fund raiser. we had a discussion on how much we should price the cards at. I have not sold cards before so was not much help. but i am sure that you will advise me if we have pitched it too low. A5 cards £1.50 and A3 cards £1.00. the next sale oppertunity is around 25 march. let me know what you think about the pricing because it is not set in stone. Rowan says that people will always pay a little more because they know that 100% of the money raised is going to the charity I thought you would like to see how much charity post i received today so here is a picture. ![]() If anyone is interested in receiving a dogs for the disabled news letter just PM me your address |

Yes May you are right and It certainly feels better too when there is accountability in the work that you do for charity. I think it makes a difference too when people can see the results of their efforts. I cant wait for the money to start coming so.

Hiya, haven't got round to sending mine yet...mainly got Crimbo cards is that going to be ok. Do you actually mean A3 cards or do you mean A4, A3 is pretty big Apologies if I have my facts wrong...but I seem to remember some of my husband's artwork being on A3 and I'm sure they were big |

Hi I think the prices are too low, I know they are all donations but where can you but any card that cheap? I would add more on even in netto they start over £1, I made for your cancer reseach shop when I was able and prices atarted at £1.95 ( I wasn't the only one who made them) and square 155x155mm were £2.95 A4 £3+ and they always needed more, it may be worth comsidering. There are a few trimmies who sell on line bisic is the cost, taxes, etc and add on profit, in skipton and Piece Hall the have shops selling handmade cards and such, the prices there start at almost £5, it's a thought maybe |

The sizes of papper are in ordersmall to big are A5 - smallest and half of A4. A4 is the size mostly used for printing in computers- about the size of most magazines. next is A3 which is twice A4. Next is A2 - twice A3, Next A1 which is twice A3 This looks a bit complicated but if you remember the higher the number the smaller the paper and each is half the one above it. Hope this helps Shirley |

T, if the size of cards that are 'in confusion'....bad words there, but i wasnt really sure what to put, but teh size cards i sent to you are A6 they are teh half A5 size...or what many call standard size. Normally most cards i make are A5 but for quickness and becuase i have a huge box full of A6 i made those up. I tend to ake quick birthday cards with them, but cards taht can take me all day, are usually A5. so if its say like the cards I sent then £1 - £1.75 may be ok but it will really depend on teh embellishments used. without seeing the cards its hard to say a price.... on eof your cards if made ATC size i would certainly think well in excess of £1. sorry if i'm not making a lot of sence.... great news though at how well the appeal is going xx |
