hiya, welcome to the forum, for putting brads through ribbon and making holes in ribbon i would suggest you get a crop o dile. iv got one myself and they are great for making holes and also for setting the eyelets. you can get one in most craft shops for about £25 and you get some eyelets with it to start you off. you may be able to get one cheaper online such as ebay,,but personally i would go with this make and not a cheeper one. x
thankyou for all the kind comments left on my projects.

I agree with Kim a cropodile is the way to go....its a worthwhile investment because you can use it it on so many different things and not just paper or card.
Check out some of the online stores because they have just brought out a different coloured version which usually means the pink one will be a little cheaper...I got mine on offer last year for £17 with a set of eyelets . There are bargains to be had you just need to shoparound
Thank you all so very much for your support and encouragement.

to put brads through paper or card i use a sewing needle to make the hole to put the brad through, only if the brad wont go through because of card thickness i do tend to use a thicker needle the bigger the brad

I put paper either side of ribbon when I use it with my cropodile so it does not tear. love Michaela xxx
