Well would you Adam and Eve it, that's the first six months of 2009 done and dusted :o . Can't quite believe it but we are now at the start of the second six months and that means next Christmas is closer than last - sobering thought eh  . It also means we are only a couple of months away from the first Christmas cards appearing in the shops. It also means we will have to start thinking about making our own  . I don't have many to send out - small family etc - but my daughter usually puts in a hefty order as her husband has a large family and she sends them at her work. I used to send plenty when I was working but since retiring at the end of 2000 it has got less and less - means I don't have to worry about forgetting someone.

That's all about Christmas. We've still got a heatwave to enjoy for a couple more days, though I like many others, don't enjoy it quite so hot. I'm watching Federer play Karlovic at present and I must say it is nice to have had Wimbledon fortnight with only one shower.

My four cats are all okay at present. Having his teeth out seems to have sorted out Smudge's mouth problem but still keeping my fingers crossed - not while typing of course - because you never know with cats. He's watching me at present waiting for his next meal - I feed them three times a day now they are all over 10. Smudge's a bit on the thick side but so loving, not like the other three who are all female and quite snooty at times.

Well I think that's enough for now. I was going to upload a picture of Smudge curled up in a small box - not sure how he did it with his long legs :D - but couldn't work out how to do it.

Bye

Many thanks to all who look at and comment on my projects.

Your Smudge sounds a bit like my Darcy. Shes a pedigree we think but isnt blessed with too many brains. The number of times shes been lying on the edge of the bed and rolled over and fallen off!!! Freddie loves boxes will stretch out in big ones and squidge up in small ones.
