I hope you had a good Christmas (sending special hugs to those of you who didn't ).

A few days before we had snow a couple of weeks ago, I went out to my car to find that the ice Artist had been active again overnight (see a previous blog entry - Design or Accident)

I've hardly ever seen anything so beautiful. There were tropical ferns on the roof and a cascade of ferns or spruce boughs on the front windscreen. I took photos and then walked to work - couldn't bear to destroy the images. The sun did that later in the day

I saw a post in General Crafting Chat today with a link to someone very talented drawing with a marker pen and it reminded me of a video I saw at New Wine this summer. Turn the sound on, and persevere through the first few minutes as it gets better, in my opinion. I hope you enjoy watching it and that it touches you like it touched me.

Hi everyone

Another of my infrequent blog entries ...

Just back today from a fab week in Las Americas, Tenerife. It was a lovely time, although tinged with sadness as our 16 year old son didn't enjoy himself all that much. We've been going there to my parents' timeshare flat almost every year since he was two and he's bored with the familiarity of it now I love it, but then I like routine. The facts that he had just got a girlfriend and couldn't take his guitar didn't help. And although I had advised him to put more credit on phone than he thought he'd need, he chose not to, then used it all within a few days and moved onto running out mine! He wasn't really moody and tried to keep cheerful for grandparents' sake, who kindly paid for everything. After a few days he was able to get on Facebook in a public internet shop nearby as the two computers in the lobby had been removed for updating
