With the current trend for recycling and the kids getting back to school, now is the perfect time to have some fun and save some pennies at the same time!

We're holding a free 'Change That!!' demonstration weekend, so if you've got any old furniture you'd like to rescue or maybe you've always fancied having a go at some fancy paint effects then come along and we'll show you how.

Bring along (small) furniture for advice and you can try crackle finishes, antiquing, serviette decoupage (cheats' painting!), wood washes and more.

Don't worry, there'll be instruction sheets available, so you don't have to remember everything!

We'll also be looking at how to use the paint on more unusual surfaces; brightening up faded fabric, painting on metals and even decorating glass.

There'll be masses of things we've done up to help inspire you and people on hand to answer any questions you might have!
