Must be time for another Tutorial!

Thought Some of you might give this one ago. It is easier than last weeks. :)

Hello, Just thought I would pop this card on that I was demoing at the weekend, so everyone has a point to find the instructions, I hope this is making the demos more enjoyable for people so they know that they have not got to worry about remembering everything.

So Here goes.

Image
Step 1) Take an A4 piece of cream card, place it so it is wider than it is tall.

Image

Step 2) Measure and mark half way along the top and bottom, and then score and fold. You have now created your A5 base card.

Image
Step 3) On the front of your A5 base card, across the top and bottom measure and mark the half way point. Very faintly draw a line down the centre of your card. I have done mine heavier just so you can see it. DO NOT SCORE THIS LINE YET!!
Image
Step 4) Now I have a shape cutter (for those that recognise the cutter x-cut, I have used the inside of the largest shape) but you can use any Circular object you have close to hand and what ever size you wish. A saucer works well. Place it onto your cardstock centrally on the middle line you have just marked .

Image
Step 5) Draw around the right hand side.

Image

Step 6) Remembering to open the card out fully, cut with a craft knife on the semi circle you have just drawn.
Step 7) Then above and below this semi circle only, not across the circle itself, score the line we drew in step 3. Fold back the front of the card, you should be left with something like the pictures below.

Finally decorate as you Wish, For my Demo card I used the Kate Knight Papers, ribbon stickers and decoupage.

I may have some LLB Bits to show you later in the week too.

Enjoy

Thanks Tracy for another tutorial, you make them very easy for the beginners amongst us to understand the instructions. I was just wondering how I was going to cut a perfect circle when I read tracy43 comment about the compass cutter thingy. I have one of those, so I am going to have a go tomorrow in my lunch time at work. (might be a bit extended!!). Thanks again.
