Hubby has decided he wants to get into triathlons. He's very good at swimming, not bad at running and I don't think it's too difficult to be OK at riding a bike. Anyway, I sent him to Ikea yesterday to buy some furniture for the play room. He was obviously so keen to go as there is a triathlon type shop next door. He rang me and asked if he was allowed to buy a new bike. This makes sense as he needs a bike in order to do triathlons so I said yes. He was surprised and yet gleeful.

By my reckoning this means I now have the freedom to spend up to an equivalent amount on myself!

Credit card at the ready, websites waiting, £0 spent, £560 to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(perhaps I won't spend quite that much)
