I have a busy two days in front of me now - I have a craft fair at a local school at 5pm tonight, then one tomorrow at another school at lunch time. I have been busy trying to get my stock up together again, and now have 44 sock toys to take with me. I like to do some little mini creatures for about £4.50 so that they are not too expensive, and the dearest toy is £11.50.

During August and September I hope to take my stock up to about 100 to cover for Xmas events, and of course, if the YOURS magazine feature brings in more business, I need stock for that too.

Ah well, no peace for the wicked, best get myself sorted and get off to Bournemouth !

Hi thanks for your comments re the photos I had taken for Yours magazine - had to reply because I have a Cavalier King Charles spaniel too, his name is Archie and he is 7 ½ yrs old. What is your dog called ?

Hi again, well the photographer turned up today at 2.30 to take the photos for the YOURS magazine. He was very good, even though I kept blinking all the time.
He took loads and loads of pics, - some in the garden with me on the garden swing with the toys, some of me laid on the floor with all the toys round me, some in the sewing room, some just standing still etc. I seemed to have this fixed smile on my face - could never have been a model in my youth.

I'm so looking forward to seeing what the article is like in the mag - think it should me August 11th issue but will put a note on here in case anyone wants to see it in all it's glory ! Well, that is my 15 minutes of fame over now then !!

Hi there, thanks for your kind comments re the above !!!! I have been told to wear a bright coloured top on Friday when the photographer comes - dont know what time yet though !! I think it is going to be in August 11th issue, but will put it on the forum - if I can remember how to do that.

By the way, my daughter is called Zoe as well, and she is getting married (for the 2nd time) on September 4th this year !!!!
