Many of you know my story about my special lady and she will now be known as Lady Q. She is very special to me and has a place in my heart. Today i start the long process of bringing to justice all those who were supposed to care for her and others in their care. This is my story Monday 17th November 2008. An appointment with the solicitor this afternoon. Went rather well, after hearing all the evidence so far we are going to go as far as possible to help close the home down and find alternative residential care for the remaining residents. Again today no joy with the owners, they refused to see me. And will answer no question on the phone. I ask myself why. Tomorrow i have another meeting with social services with regards to the evidence i have found in the home. This will be investigated. Tomorrow i am going to arrange lady q's funeral as well so quite a busy day. I will keep you all posted on whats happening, and i know in my heart of hearts that this is going to be a long hard battle. But with the support of my husband and you as well will keep me going.
Regards Zoe

Hello Zoe, though we don't know each other, I just wanted to say my heart goes out to you and your lovely lady, who have both been through so much. I have been reading your thread on the forum and it's sadly the case that money comes before people in these places, though some worse than others. I congratulate you on your hard work and determination at bringing these people to justice. Good luck and best wishes for the future and take care to look after yourself in this difficult process. x

Such a sad story, I'm sure your lady Q will be looking down on you while you carry on with your pledge to close the place down, at least that will provide some kind of closure and justice to this whole sorry state. Thinking of you, and please do keep us informed with what is going on and also of the date of the funeral so we can be with you in mind at least x

This is such a sad tale. Im sure your lady will give you the extra strength and determination to get justice done and get this home shut down. Please let us know when the funeral is so we can be with you in spirit. Take care. Sandra

Hi Zoe, well done with your blog, I think the reason why the home won't meet with you is because they will have taken legal advice as well and will have been warned not to say anything unless it's an official statement that has been prepared by their legal advisors, so don't worry too much about that, your time will come to address what they have to say for themselves, but it probably will be in an official hearing. Good luck with the funeral arrangements, you will have some sort of closure and then your mind can centre on the task ahead knowing Lady Q has been put to rest at last, after her ordeal. I repeat my offer for any help, keep strong and take care of yourself Love Sue xxxx
