Inexpensive Floral Handmade Card

Permanent Linkby Jep on Thu Apr 23, 2009 5:41 pm

Thought you might be interested to see my latest floral handmade card that was actually created from a freebie - papers from a previous issue of Crafts Beautiful magazine. I was so attracted to the papers that I just had to do something with them! This card is unique to my blog and I find the colours very appealing. I'm hoping my Mum likes them too. I think she will because she has an item of clothing that has a similar colour scheme. Follow the link below to view the photos.

Good to see Laurence Lewellyn Bowen's designs here on Trimcraft. I like his video with Rosemary Merry. I think a card created from his collection would look very luxurious and have a sophisticated elegance. I look forward to seeing the collection for real in the shops - I want to get my hands on some now! Hopefully, I'll be lucky in the Trimcraft competition!

Had a look at your card, I think its fab and your mum is sure to love it. I also can't wait for the LLB collection to come out. Knowing me though though I'll get it and just look at it adoringly for months.

Thanks for your kind comments Sam. Me too - I think I'll sit there just stroking the LLB collection of papers - I won't want to cut them up!

Thanks for your kind comments Suzi, Mary and June! I'm glad all the hard work was worth it. Look out for more cards using these papers very soon - I'm addicted to them now. Shame it's in limited supply.
