A place of Sanity in an increasingly crazy world

What is it with people these days? so many people feel so darn superior that they feel the need to put others down at every opportunity. What ever happened to 'Live and let Live'? if you don't like it go somewhere more suited to your needs.
I do not envy the young the world they are inheriting. too many self obsessed prima donnas in every area of life.

Where is the year going????

Well, it's August already, and winter here is almost over, in fact today the temperature got up to 21 degrees C, not bad at all for a winters day, I LOVE summer, I like the heat, so come on sunshine.

After the turmoil of the past few months in the financial sector of just about every country in the world, I'm happy to say i'm still gainfully employed, which means I can feed my habit...... my crafting habit that is! there are always so many beautiful goodies out there that I just have to have and try and play with, I believe all crafters are the the same. I don't waste things, lord you should see my scrap boxes, even tiny bits get saved, and since I've discovered inchies, well, I'm getting to use quite a bit of those little scraps.

I recently treated myself to the 3CD set of Flower Fairies from Crafters Companion, and WOW are they beautiful. I've had some serious fun playing with those. Some of the ladies who do my Craft classes have been begging to make some too. If you don't have them you should have a look, they are really lovely.

Till next time, Happy crafting.
Hugs,
Beth
