It's Freya's sports day today. There was a question as to whether it would go ahead because of the weather but fingers crossed everything is looking good. The thunderstorms can come this evening.
She won the "sprint" last year but I pushed the wrong button on the video and actually managed to turn it off at the beginning of the race and then back on again as they crossed the finishing line. They only do three races but she loves it. She spends more time looking around at her friends so they can all cross the line together.
I've even managed to do her hair this morning (she normally just has an inverted bob) but we have bobbles in today and I cut her fringe too so she can actually see where she's going. I've told her that the white bobbles are for speed and the yellow bobbles are for having fun. I also put some invisible pegasus wings on her heels so she can go faster.
Just need to remember drinks and sun cream for the other two!
UPDATE: Third in the sprint, fourth in the egg and spoon race and no idea where they came in the football-shoving-relay but it certainly wasn't first!

I remember those days! Hope you all have a good time today - treasure these times because they grow up so fast.
God bless, Debbie xx Thanks for looking and your comments. http://kingdomkidskaleidoscope.blogspot.com/Housekeeping tip of the day: Always keep a few get well cards on the mantelpiece, then visitors will think you have been ill and unable to clean!

Glad some schools still have sports day, with all this political corectness nonsense a lot have abandoned competitive sports, which is sad really as it teaches trying your best, glad you all had a good day. love Michaela xx
