That is the question. I am supposed to go swimming on Thursday nights from now on to get ready for this Great North Swim. I suppose I ought to go this evening but I have a houseful on Sunday for a barbecue (17 including children) and the house needs a damn good clean, tidy and general primp. I haven't managed any of this for ages as my leg is still playing up and I've been out of the house at school every morning this week. I also have to actually buy the barbecue stuff at some point. I am planning a late night trip to ASDA tomorrow for that but have no other time for the other shenanigans as we are going to collect some furniture from my Auntie on Saturday and I've still got summer school with the kids to contend with in the meantime. I don't even really want to go but then I don't want to drown in Lake Windermere either. Perhaps I should see how much tidying I can do around the children this afternoon. So. To swim or not to swim.....?
UPDATE NOT TO SWIM. To tidy the house, do the hoovering and watch The Mentalist. Then to swim on Monday instead.

Missed the mentalist tonight as we were walking the dogs and little Wizzlema (Wizz - our female staffy, one of many nicknames for her - tonight that included "you little s**t!) decided to run off after a deer and didn't come back for about 10 minutes. You'll have to see if you can get some swimming in on a different day to make up for it
