This week is going to be busy.....

I have my first appointment with specialist tomorrow. Scared what they are going to say. What they will think of me. Hubby is coming with me. Not sure what is going to happen or what will happen next.

Wednesday I have a meeting with my boss. Thanks to the advice I have had on here I have got a Union rep to come with me. I don't normally use the Union card but for my sake on this case I think it will be better for me. I am too good at wearing my heart on my sleeve and being honest with everyone but there are times that you don't need to tell people everything

Back at docs on Friday morning - so for me this is quite a stressful week.

Preparing for Christmas - I thought I would start to experiment. I'm going to make some sweets - instead of buying a box from the shops.
Two reasons -
(1) It will keep me busy & out of mischief ...

Been signed off until the end of the month. Now being referred to a specialist
Hubby has the joys of contacting my work to keep them informed.....UPDATE Boss been on phone this morning. Needs to see me to talk about sickness policy. (next Monday morning). Do you think it wold be wise to have somebody with me for this?

On a brighter note I have started to clear out my front room. I have two boys who share a bedroom just now. They are quite happy to continue to do so but the eldest needs somewhere he can come with his friends. So I thought I could transform the room into a den (it seemed like a good idea at the time ). I thought I could put a small screen in there so they could watch dvds and play games on the wii. Somewhere for them to have have friends to sleep over........

Been a wee while since I have posted on my blog.....

Went to the SECC at the weekend (with hubby & the kids ). Don't think I was in the best frame of mind but I believe they do another show in the spring.

Kids are back at school, hubby back at work - and I'm still signed off. Back at docs this friday morning. They are intending to review how things are going and if there isn't a big enough improvement I will be referred to a specialist. I have a feeling that this is what will happen. I'm feeling a little scared. This week hasn't been one of my best. Spent most of yesterday in bed because I couldn't face anything or anyone. Just wish I could wave a magic wand and make everything better but I can't

Last week was not a week I would like to go through too often........

Hubby has got a job but we don't know yet - where, what & salary. Hey but the good news is we will still have a monthly salary coming in. When we heard we didn't know whether to laugh, cry or be unwell! I think hubby is still recovering

Finished my first scrapbook in ages. Maybe I can set about making some Christmas cards now.

I'm hoping this week I will find life a little easier - the last few weeks have been really hard. Due to the tablets I'm taking I can't drive just now. Every week I see the doctor she promises me that things will get better. Sometimes feels like a carrot being dangled in front of me but I never get there

Maybe I should go and try and tidy my craft stuff ...

Really scared. Hubby finds out whether he has a job this week. Been lucky that we have never found ourselves in this position before. The kids are already looking @ what they would like for Christmas. Thought we wouldn't say anything to them yet. Hopefully it will still be business as usual.....

I'm still signed off work - the only glimmer on the horizon is the medication might be beginning to work. Not that my boss is very supportive. She phoned me last week and told me that I was "Stupid" and "paranoid" and that the rest of the staff need to be told something about why I am off I spent the next day washed out and crying. I want to be back @ work but not able to yet. I love my job (lets face it not many people can say that these days).

Been having a play on the cricut over the weekend - what a fab toy. Must order some new mats though ...
